Last night my wife worked late. She got home just as everyone was winding down for bed.
Everyone except our baby boy, he was still busy working.
When he heard the dogs bark he knew that she was home and he got so excited. He was all smiles and a bundle of joy. He was holding on to the bed and walking around. When she walked up he decided to let go, then he took his first step, towards her. He was so happy to see her he decided to take his first steps to see her. I couldn't think of a better way to take a first step in this world!
Truly a moment we will never forget. For good measure he did it again after being prompted.
Soon he won't stop, not that he does now. What a great way to celebrate his first step!
