What I know so far is this:

But what I’m learning looks like this:

Life doesn’t come with a script

-        Be ready to bring your best self to every moment

-        Don’t be surprised when the moments of reckoning for your soul come when you least expect them, and are least prepared.

Challenge is abundant

-        This is what keeps your heart growing

Chaos

-        Chaos is humbling, soak it in.  It reminds me how little control I have.

Children

-        Are our life’s gift, cherish them.

Patience

-        Enduring patience is eternal wisdom.

What really matters

-        The people we love.

Enchantment

-        Enchanting moments make the challenges less challenging.

Kindness

-        If you want to do something nice for yourself, do something nice for someone else.

Nothing seems to compare to winter

under the weather we have been

much of the time it seems

but we persevere

every morning, every night

right when we have one child healthy

For sure another one gets sick

our family expects another

unexpected illness

right around the corner

Maybe soon

it will all pass

going swiftly into the

heavens to give us much needed healthy

time

Because we would rather be doing

everything but being sick

Optimistic are we that health is

nothing but a day away

That is our

hope

every moment

We wait

anxiously

yearning to rejoin the healthy
